BEDFORD/BLAIR SCHOLASTIC QUIZ
The Bedford / Blair Varsity Scholastic Quiz League began in the fall of 2006. All of the public and non-public high schools in these two counties are eligible to field teams.
The Bedford / Blair Jr. Varsity Scholastic Quiz League began in the late winter of 2009. All of the public and non-public Jr. High & Middle Schools in these two counties are eligible to field teams.
The Scholastic Quiz teams are comprised of up to 10 students from the Bedford & Blair County districts who compete as a team to answer academic questions based on science, literature, history, geography, government, and mathematics. The students must work together to correctly answer the questions in a timely manner. The winners of the Varsity competition are eligible to move on to compete at the state level.
2024-2025 Season Information
Both Varsity and Junior Varsity Scholastic Quiz will be held in person. Competition rounds will be held at the IU8 Executive Office in Altoona. No spectators will be allowed due to room capacity restrictions.

1/14, 1/21, 1/28, 2/4, 2/11
